My favorite things to do in New York
Aside from taking pictures of myself in random Yoga poses (which I am learning will have to be a new fad apparently, since I can't truly qualify as a real Yoga person until I have something ridiculous to post on Pinterest now and then), here are my top favorite things to do in the Big Apple.
1. Eat. Without a doubt, New York knows food. While the United States isn't really top of the list for global gourmet cuisine, for $20 at least per meal in Midtown Manhattan, one is bound to run into some quality fare. New York has burgers and even veggie burgers down. I ate one at least 3 times within the week. New York knows food-everything from vegan, raw, French bakeries to prime ribs, . And of course there is pizza. Dear East coasters, when it comes to pizza, I get you now. Gourmet vegan cheese is no joke here either. Espresso and raw food smoothie juice shops. For cheaper options there is an endless array in China Town, deli markets that offer everything from fresh salad to salmon, soba, soup in all other international cuisine.
2. Drink. I did more than eat. I also drank. One word. Cocktails. Or is that two? Anyway, they were good.
3. Site seeing. Beyond the obvious Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and If you are not a museum person New York city will change your mind. Home to the (note to self include links) Metropolitan museum, the Solomon R. Guggenheim, the Museum of Natural History, and the Museum of Modern Art to name the top four, New York city consequently houses some of the best art and most famous sculptures and artefacts in the world.
4. Entertainment. Comedies and musicals
