I started my spring with a week long trip to New York City, starting with great food, good site seeing, and ending in the creation of this website at Justin and Karen's incredible Business of Yoga Bootcamp at Yoga Journal's Live event, this April at the Hilton in Midtown, NYC.

What a beautiful time to visit. The weather ranged from 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit - the perfect weather to walk all over the place and bright enough to see the sight. There were a few rainy days of course which are perfect to spend the day at museums such as MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), the renknown Met - Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Natural History Museum - absolute musts. If you're not a museum person, New York may be the city to change your mind. Currently MoMA hosts Van Gough's "Starry Night" painting, the Met is showing one of the most famous of the Unicorn Tapestries, and the third floor of the Natural History Museum displays fossil skeletons of a Tyrannosaurus rex, Stegosaurus, and  Triceratops.

In addition, not only is New York a great place to practice some fabulous Yoga of course, but the city also features great cuisine, such as the Russian Tea Room, showcases amazing sites and monuments like the Empire State Building, the 9-11 Memorial, and if it wasn't obvious yet, The Statue of Liberty. Manhattan is also home to some of the most celebrated entertainment. Hit Broadway shows such as Lion King and Wicked have their roots on and off Broadway.

If you've never been, I highly encourage you to take a trip to the Big Apple.  You'll get a work out walking all over town. There's a lot to see!

And I'll see you soon on the mat!
